Such glad news! Anna’s current interest for unknown Swedish keyboard repertoire composed between 1770-1860 was chosen after a huge national selection for 3 years scholarship awarded by the Swedish Research Council. Anna will be able to play and research into this wonderful music, to organize work-shops at the Royal College of Music of Stockholm, play concerts at Drottningholm castle and restore her original fortepianos and clavichords. Voices from the past need to sound through the instruments and with the technique they were thought for!
While Anna is the project leader and main musician, Dan Laurin will be her enthusiastic co-worker as one of the few other experts in the world within this field – in particular, with focus on Olof Åhlström’s world and his publications for domestic music-making during 1789-1734. More music to the people!
